inTime

The works presented in this exhibition are explorations of time through the practice of artistic production. Through the combination of various mediums, all centered around myself as both producer and subject of the product, the opportunity for dialogue and contemplation arises regarding how my personality, my self, is related to a viewer. The goal of these pieces is to foster an awareness of how the sums of our experiences, the products of our little daily tasks and the paths of our lives, add up to create our substantive selves. The key point of inquiry in the work relies on the fact that as conscious of these additive parts as we may be, the aesthetic qualities of our lives - the emotional and psychological bonds we share with one another - are still dependent upon careful and considerate interpretation.

  1. I really like this ... Nothing more accurate than a 'man's' life ... how apropos is it to collect one's writing and one's imagery as art, to be displayed not in an 'artistic' way, but as a moment of connection between doer and seer. This strikes many various chords of meditation and the contemplative nature that is art of living ... may this exhibit, and all art succeed in creating some level of awareness ...
